 Pirates! Gold

Pirates! Gold is a classic video game that was released in 1993 for various platforms, including PC and the Sega Genesis. It is an updated version of the original Pirates! game, which was released in 1987. Developed by MicroProse and designed by Sid Meier, the game puts players in the role of a pirate captain as they sail the seas of the Caribbean in search of treasure and adventure.

The gameplay of Pirates! Gold is divided into two main parts: exploration and combat. During exploration, players can sail their ship to different locations on the map, interact with other ships and characters, and gather information and resources. When players encounter another ship, they can choose to attack or try to negotiate a peaceful resolution.

In addition to combat and exploration, players can also engage in various other activities such as trading, recruiting crew members, and completing quests for various factions and NPCs. The game also includes a number of mini-games, such as sword fighting and treasure hunting, that can be played to earn extra rewards.

Overall, Pirates! Gold is a fun and engaging game that offers a unique blend of strategy, action, and adventure. Its combination of exploration, combat, and customization make it a great choice for fans of pirate-themed games or anyone looking for a challenging and immersive gaming experience.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Zombies Ate My Neighbors is a 1993 run and gun video game for the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis and SNES platforms. The game was originally developed, distributed, and produced by LucasArts as a comical tribute to both classic and horror films of the 1950s through the 1980s

The goal of the game is to collect all the neighbors on whatever map you're on while avoiding or killing the monsters. At least one neighbor must be saved from each level to progress to the next, more points are earned if all the people in a particular level are saved, but they can also be killed by the monsters. You get a multitude of different weapons ranging from squirt guns, bazookas, cutlery, plates, bubble guns, fire extinguishers, pandora's box, Popsicles, tomatoes, and several other items. You only get 3 lives with plenty hit points per life. Extra lives are rare, your health kits quickly deplete, and it is easy to take a beating if you run out of ammo or get stuck in a corner. Some of the enemies are really tough to kill, and should best be avoided if possible.

If you are a fan of horror games, or just a fan of the SNES you must play this game. I guarantee you a fun experience and a great time.

Gunstar Heroes

Gunstar Heroes is a side scrolling run and gun shooter like Contra or Metal Slug. You’re going to run, and shoot, a lot. Player has four weapons to choose from, and they can be combined in various pairs to create a total of 14 unique weapons. In addition to the weapons, the player can engage enemies in close quarters combat. It is possible to grab and toss enemies, perform sliding and jumping attacks and a long-range skid

The variety of action in the game makes it stand uniquely from all other platform action games.
You can pick from 4 levels, level in this game is huge and just when you think you've seen off the last boss ,another one appears.
In one scene you are on a mine cart going at insane speeds fighting enemies everywhere, going up on the ceiling or down on the ground. Next thing you know you're playing a board game with dices for different levels, and then the pretty difficult space battle in the ship. In two player mode, it's even more entertaining.

Gunstar Heroes is great game that is perfect for fans of the genre. With a friend, though, it's a real blast. The game will play just about the same with one or two players, so it's obviously a much quicker play with two of you manning the controls.I highly recommend this game to anyone that hasn't checked it out yet.

UFO-Enemy Unknown

I'll start with a game titled UFO Enemy Unknown, or perhaps better known by the name of X-Com . It is a strategy game where your job is to stop the alien invasion and threat to earth. You start off by building a base somewhere on the globe. You are initially given 3 crafts, 2 for intercepting airborn UFOs, and one with crew for getting rid of ground alien troops and survivors of shot-down UFOs. The base is also equipped with research, manufacture, radar, defense etc. facilities.

Each month you get fundings from every continent. The amount of money you get depends on how well you have controlled the alien threat on a certain continent. As the game progresses, you research new weapons, either from recovered aliens and their artefacts, or just normal earth weapons. The ground combat is turn-based, but nonetheless very dynamic and interesting.I suggest you get it now and play the game you won't regret
